Do Not Dwell
by Frank L. Jordan III
Do not dwell on your losses,
Do not be consumed by your failures,
Do not ruminate over your shortcomings.
But be thankful for your blessings,
Be consoled by your efforts,
And be strengthened by your qualities.
For the past is not an anchor,
But a ladder to this present springboard,
Catapulting you into a glorious future,
If you would just let it be.
